- 500g of Agen prunes, pitted
- 1 bottle of red wine from Lot & Garonne
- Prune, Armagnac or vanilla ice cream
- Cinnamon, nutmeg
- Flaked almonds.
In a saucepan, cook the Agen prunes gently in the red wine (be generous with the wine).
Â– While itÂ’s cooking, add the cinnamon, a touch of nutmeg and 3 tablespoons of honey.
Â– Simmer very gently for around 40 minutes.
Â– Leave to cool.
In a sundae glass, plate up a big scoop of ice cream and a few warm prunes.
Â– Sprinkle over a few flaked almonds and serve before the ice cream melts!
