300g of prunes
1 can of pineapple
2 tablespoons of Armagnac or other flavouring
Drain the pineapple and put the chunks into a bowl. Peel the oranges, bananas and grapefruit. Slice the oranges and the bananas, and cut the grapefruit into pieces. Mix these together with the pineapple. Add the pitted Agen prunes (if they are not soft enough, soak them for an hour in hot tea). Flavour with Armagnac, mix well and chill. Tip: this excellent salad is a quick dessert to make. It is very light, and even better if you use prunes in syrup.
