Prunes in a red dress

Ingredients :
500g of Agen prunes
500g of strawberries
For the syrup:
150g of sugar
a glass of water
4 tablespoons of rum
2 oranges
Preparation
Place the prunes in a sieve placed over a pan of boiling water to steam and rehydrate them. In another saucepan, pour in the sugar and the glass of water and cook for 5 minutes. Add the orange juice and the rum. Wash and stem the strawberries. Take the prunes out of the sieve, rinse them under cold water and mix them with the strawberries. Arrange the fruit in individual dessert glasses which have been chilled for half an hour in the fridge. Generously douse with the cooled syrup and leave to chill for 2 to 3 hour. Serve with crispy waffles.
