Prunes in marzipan

Ingredients :
15 “giant” Agen prunes
15 dates
30 walnut halves
350g of marzipan
red and green food colouring
coffee extract
Preparation
Knead the marzipan to soften it, divide it into three and colour each third differently: the first green, the second red and the third with the coffee extract. Stuff the pitted dates with an oval of green marzipan, and the prunes with the pink. Stick two walnut halves to each ball of coffee marzipan. Next, glaze the confections with a light caramel. Spike them onto skewers and dip quickly into the syrup. Leave to cool on an oiled tray. Repeat until all of the confections are glazed.
