Spring-time skewers

Ingredients :
600g of rump steak
32 Agen prunes
16 baby onions
16 small button mushroom caps
2 red peppers
Thyme, bay leaves, olive oil, salt, pepper
Cut the meat into 16 even pieces. Deseed and cut the peppers into 16 pieces. Wash the caps of the mushrooms and wipe dry. Peel the onions. On each skewer, thread: 1 prune, 1 mushroom cap, 1 piece of pepper, 1 piece of meat, 1 small onion. Finish with a prune. Season. Sprinkle with thyme and bay. Brush with olive oil. Cook in a hot oven or on the barbecue for 5 to 8 minutes.
